St Vincent and the Grenadines |
|
The Grenadine Islands lie between St Lucia and Grenada in the Windward Islands of the Eastern Caribbean chain. It is headed by St Vincent and consists of 32 other islands and cays. St Vincent is a fantastic island to set aside some time to explore ashore. St Vincent is the filming destination of both “Pirates of the Caribbean” Disney movies and offers stunning dramatic scenery as well as excellent cruising conditions and line of sight sailing. This region can be known for its strong winds however.
There is exceptional snorkelling and diving found in the Grenadines – especially in the Tobago Cays National Park. You will often see turtles, dolphins and even whales during your charter. Fortunately, the Tobago Cays can only be reached by boat, giving bareboat and crewed yacht charters, a little peace of paradise, all to themselves. Like all Windward Islands the Grenadines offer dramatic landscapes of lush tropical forests, framed by sheer volcanic backdrops. For a beautiful complement of great sailing, gorgeous scenery and impeccable diving, the Grenadines is the perfect choice for a yacht charter holiday.
