Barging in the Mecklenburg area which is renouned for rich flora and fauna or further south in the Brandenburg area near to Berlin - the choice is up to you.   Situated in north east Germany, the Prussian regions of Mecklenburg and Brandenburg are a patchwork of lakes, forests and pastures. There are bases at Matzlow and Furstenburg, and a third base at Ketzin. Cruises are one or two weeks with some one way options.
