September was a busy month for us here at Mariner Boating as we had the Bonifacio Yacht Rally and the Croatia Yacht Rally depart within one week of each other. If any of you were on either of these rallies, I am sure that you will agree that they were awesome fun and a great success. The weather was perfect, the food was delicious and the sailing was just great.

PHUKET TO LANGKAWI YACHT RALLY

This is a truly unique sailing adventure show casing the best of Thailand and Malaysia.  You will experience colourful culture, delicious food and very friendly people, not to mention spectacular coastline and beaches, tropical islands, crystal clear waters, great snorkeling, diving and kayaking and ideal sailing conditions. Asia has the added benefit of being accessible and much less expensive than other international sailing destinations. AEGEAN YACHT RALLY

Sail with us on this fun rally where Greece and Turkey straddle the invisible border between Europe and Asia. Stark cultural differences are apparent to the visitor, yet along the coast a Mediterranean lifestyle is common to both countries.
 The founders of MARINER BOATING HOLIDAYS Trevor and Maggie Joyce, lived in Greece for many years and sailed these waters extensively, invite you to share their local knowledge so that your cruising experience will be complete. There will be a little spirited competition in a series of short races, each one followed by a social occasion that will feature the local cuisine and wines. Late spring along this coast is quite special with the greenery and wild flowers still to be burnt off by the fierce Mediterranean summer. You can expect, however, daily maximum temperatures in the high 20’s with gentle north westerly winds pushing you along the track.
