Corsica

corsica_panorama.jpgCorsica is an island off the coast of France in the Mediterranean Sea.   It is part of France however it is heavily influenced by Italy therefore it has a distinct personality of its own.

Steep rugged cliffs and green gorges are typical of the scenery found in Corsica.  With 1000 kms of coastline, more than 200 beaches and soaring mountains Corsica is a compelling place.

Corsica is a sailor's paradise and there are many beautiful secluded anchorages from which to choose from. Corsica receives 300 days of sunshine each year.  The climate is best between April and September which is the perfect time to do a yacht charter in Corsica.  Both fully crewed luxury super yachts right through to sail your own bareboats are available in Corsica.

Corsica is steeped with history.  Ajaccio is the capital of Corsica and was the birthplace of Napolean Bonaparte - the town pays tribute to Bonapore with many monuments and museums.

Bonifacio is a popular port of call for all charer yachts and has an extremely picturesque setting.  Port Vecchio is another popular new harbour for luxury charter yachts with excellent modern facilities.
