Charter a gulet

What is a Gulet?

Gulets (pronounced Goo-lets) are crewed, traditional motor yachts rigged for sailing. They are available for private or cabin charter. They are made from wood (teak, mahogany, oak) and all come with a professional crew (captain, chef, deckhand crew and hostess). You can hire a Gulet in the Mediterranean, the most popular destination being Turkey.

CHOOSING A GULET IS EASY!

Here is a quick guide to help you sort out your options.

1. First, choose which destination you want to visit.
The main cruising destinations are Turkey with approx. 500 deluxe, premium and luxury Gulets to choose from; and Croatia with approx. 50 vessels that are worthy of taking for charter.

2. Think about how many cabins you will need on-board.
On most gulets all cabins will come with their own ensuite.

3. What is your budget per day for the vessel?
As a guide for budgeting for the yacht, deluxe Gulets start from approx. 1500 euros per day, not including extras such as food, beverages or tipping the crew.

4. How long do you wish to charter for?

Charters are generally Saturday to Saturday, though if you wish to have a 10-day cruise, this can be negotiated depending on the vessels availability.
